Watanee Jearanaiwongkul, Teeradaj Racharak, Jiraporn Pooksook, Find a Contrary in Hotel Reviews Booking.com: A Corpus Creation for Contrary Mining Task of Assumption-based Argument Mining, In Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DS&AI 2025), Sri Lanka, November 19–21, 2025
This paper introduces a newly constructed corpus for the contrary mining task within the framework of assumption-based argument mining. Focusing on hotel reviews from Booking.com, the dataset aims to capture contrary statements that challenge assumptions embedded in user-generated reviews. By providing this corpus, the work contributes an essential resource for advancing computational models of argument mining, with applications in opinion analysis, consumer insight generation, and natural language understanding.
Congratulations to the authors on this achievement!
