The Statistical Science Research Center, Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University, will hold the symposium “Frontiers of Statistical Science and Machine Learning in Evidence Synthesis” on October 26–27, 2026. The AI So-Go-Chi Center is a co-organizer of this symposium.

The symposium will present recent research results and applications in statistical science and machine learning, including meta-analysis, transfer learning, federated learning, and large language models (LLMs), and will discuss methodologies for and future perspectives on evidence synthesis in the age of AI.
